about

Both cd’s are purely vocal with no words. The pieces all have their own flavour, Whole tone, Pentatonic, fast and like a matrix of pitches, long and restful. The aim of this album was to create rhythmic, non-contextual clear melodies and harmonies which interweave and develop gently. This CD has often been said to calm stressful moods and help people get to sleep. The beauty of the non-contextual voice come through to soothe and allow you to think whatever you want, whether it be an aid to meditation or a focusing tool for concentration.

Track Name: Angleation
There are no discernible words, other than those you might find for yourself. The the title word "Angleation" I made up. It means something like "Visited by Angels in the form of a truly beautiful man." (bit cheesy but there you go!)
Track Name: Bouncy Spring
There are no discernible words, other than those you might find yourself. The title "Bouncy Spring" to me encapsulated it's upbeat enthusiasm. It was composed in Spring.
Track Name: Yeah Yeah
There are no discernible words, other than those you might find yourself. The title "Yeah Yeah" Is an amusing colloquialism... because depending on the inflection of the voice it can mean equal and opposite things.
Again, something that involves the complexity of intonation.
Track Name: God Found Pluto a Cold Place
There are no discernible words, other than those you might find yourself.

As for the feel and the title..

This title refers to a reoccurring vision..

....The sentient God Consciousness of Earth retreats to Pluto.. The God Consciousness of Venus moves over to Earth in order to keep things running as apparently normally as possible, while the angels work out how to get him back.

It's a long story. :)
Track Name: Pent Flat
There are no discernible words, other than those you might find yourself.

As for the Name of the track... it's just a play on words.

Pent- short for Pentatonic
and Flat? well it means a flat note in music but also a type of house so Pentflat ... Penthouse? hmm. :)
My fascination is in meaning, what you say, what you mean and the misinterpretations in between.
Track Name: Fullness
There are no discernible words, other than those you might find yourself.

As for the name "Fullness". It refers to the emotional feeling as I sang this piece, a state of fullness of being in the sound and moment.
